The mission of Stratford University is to prepare students for rewarding and challenging careers by providing quality, competency-based educational programs that meet the changing needs of employers in emerging high demand industries.

Stratford University was founded in 1976 to provide students with the skills necessary for success in the modern world of management, technology, culinary arts, hospitality, and health care. Programs are offered at the Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's Level both in traditional classroom and in on-line modalities. The University has two campuses located in Northern Virginia approved for the training of veterans, financial aid available for those who qualify and Stratford issues I-20’s for F1 visas for the international student.
